Ok, seriously: I tried to listen to the song, and I couldn't make any more sense of it than of the written lyrics. Maybe one of their problems is they aren't native Spanish speakers themselves, but I think the general meaning should be "La idea de quedarme a pasar ahí la noche", which is not a full sentence either, but at least would give the idea that he actually stayed at Hotel California.

Gracias, me he dado cuenta de que hablan raros. Siempre no suena correcto a mí, pero no pensaba que hablan muy mal español!

No sabía que era Hotel California de los Gipsy. Bueno, el español que hablan es horrible, tienen una mezcla de andaluz mal hablado con no sé bien qué, supongo que francés . Está claro que el español no es su primera lengua.

He visto francés, italiano, y mal español en sus canciones! Pero él puede tocar buenísimo la guitarra. Pienso que su primera lengua es francés
