Sorry

It appears there are differents ways of saying sorry in Spanish.
I´m sorry.
Lo siento./Perdoname.
Sorry.
Perdon./Disculpa
but how would you use it for the 2nd and the 3rd persons singular and plural
e.g : You´ll be sorry if you do that.
He was very sorry for being late.
They were sorry about what happened.
also, how do you say you or someone else is not sorry about something.

Your examples:
Te arrepentirás si haces eso.
Sintió mucho llegar tarde.
Sintieron lo que había pasado.
No se como contestarte la última parte. Can you give some examples?

I knew the te arrepentirás... part, but I had wanted to know if there was other ways of saying the same things.
the last part...
e.g : They weren´t sorry for what they did.
No los sintieron lo que había pasado.
Also is there a stem verb/ the infinitive form of to be sorry in Spanish?

They weren't sorry for what they did.
No estaban arrepentidos de lo que habían hecho.
No sienten lo que han hecho.

Creo que tambien se puede decir:

They weren't sorry for what they did.
Ellos no estaban arrepentidos de lo que hicieron.

He was very sorry for being late.
El estaba apenado por llegar tarde.

Yo uso lamento. Por ejemplo: El lamenta el incomodez que causó.
Me parece que la gente me entiende. ¿Suena incorrecto?
