Pill mill

What is a pill mill?

Photo: HERALD FILE PHOTO
A pill mill is a doctor's office or medical clinic where licensed doctors sell prescription drugs under the table to almost anybody with cash not to help sick or injured people but to reap enormous profits.

My question is, how would you translate "pill mill" into Spanish?

Haré algunas consultas por si existe en el argot algún término específico, pero con mi escasísima experiencia en el mercado negro, nomás podría decir "un médico que vende recetas para medicamentos controlados". Ya la sola idea de la venta de una receta supone la práctica ilegal.

Gracias, he visto "distribución ilícita de píldoras" en linguee.es, pero debe de haber alguna expresión coloquial o de argot...

I think we don´t have a word for that in Spanish. We use a sentence like a consulta dónde venden medicamentos ilegalmente or trapichean con medicamentos.

Gracias a todos, y lo del trapicheo y los chanchullos es una buena idea... a ver como lo finalizo en mi traducción...
