Tejemaneje means commotion, bustle, or activity. Another meaning is a plot or scheme, as in plotting or scheming against someone.
Descuajaringado means busted, broken, or knackered (for our UK friends). A more popular synonym is escacharrado. Another meaning of descuajaringado is jiggered, as in I'll be jiggered if anybody shows up. Unlike the other two, I can't find any hits on the Internet for chafadería. Are you sure this is the right spelling? Last edited by Rusty; September 19, 2008 at 11:33 AM. |

Without context I can't tell, but chafadería might be related to chafa. In Mexico, if something is chafa, it's of very low quality.

Tejemanejes also means goings-on, by the way. |
