inside out/upside down

I know that inside out is a revés. Does it also mean upside down?

Generally, for "upside down" we say "de cabeza".

- Traes la playera al revés. Se ven las costuras. -> Your T-shirt is inside out. The seams are showing.

- Ese cuadro está de cabeza. -> That painting is upside down.

Rusty has a spectacular aura aboutRusty has a spectacular aura about
al revés or del revés = inside out

I also found that «poner al revés» means 'upside down (upside-down)'.

In addition to what Angelica wrote, I've also heard and used «puesto boca abajo» and «puesto patas arriba» in Central America. These can be translated as 'a mess' or 'topsy-turvy', as well.

Thanks both of you. Now I remember that I have heard boca abajo.

al revés (remera/polo/playera/camiseta)

patas para arriba = cabeza abajo (cuadro/pintura, afiche/póster, mapa, plano)

dado vuelta (bolsa, prenda de vestir, todo lo anterior)

invertido = upside down

boca abajo = invertido (persona, copa, vaso, pote, maceta)
