¿Tiene Uruguay humedad tambien?
Gracias por las correctiones, Rusty! Is "quedar" most often used with a reflexive pronoun, or did I just happen upon a couple of uses that should have had those pronouns?

I don't know anything about Uruguay and less about Argentine, but I believe that if you are able to have one conversation with your friend about the places where you want to meet in the country, beside you can ask her about the typical food in the place. And you can ask her about the museums and other things also you can visit the cinemas the places where there are woods and forest, I don't know perhaps I'm being a little silly with my commentary, but I believe that if you arrive to Uruguay, you must to ask her about as the people life in that place. There is someone who has a better idea than my idea.

I know lots about Mexico, and virtually nothing about Uruguay.
![]() I guess the biggest thing to try to get ready for are the cultural differences. There will be so many differences that you will feel totally out of place, confused, etc. Things that you take for granted will be missing and they will take things for granted that you have no clue about, which can lead to misunderstandings. Tread softly, keep your eyes wide open, and try to be ready for completely unexpected stuff. ![]() Have you traveled out of North America before?
