Me parece que la palabra bail es correcto.
Bail es lo que paga cuando una persona está encarcelada antes del juicio.

Vault bank. Or I figure me strongbox. Someone else have other idea.

 Oxford bilingual gives "fianza" for "deposit". So, it seems to me you are pretty safe in using it in a legal context.
