Question you can get along well

cuál está para el "you can get along well" en español.

"hacerse" significa el "get along well" y "entender" significa el "understand each other".

no pedo comprender porqué "entender" debe aparecer.

saludos desde India,
Raji

disculpe los errores en mi español

You can get along well se puede traducir como Os podéis llevar bien.

Thanks for your translation, María. I've used se caen bien in the past for they get along well. Does it sound bad? The vosotros form you used is certainly correct but rarely used outside of Spain.

Caer bien is a bit different from get along well.
A very clear example:
Alfonso me cae bien, pero no nos llevamos bien= I like Alfonso but we don't get on well.
Jane me cae bien y encima nos llevamos bien= I like Jane and what is more we get on well (David, I have just realized I need a new symbol for my pelota comments, maybe a ball...?)

Sí, llevarse bien (con alguien) es cómo se dice to get along well (with someone). To get on well se usa más en Gran Bretaña.

Los dos significan to get by or to manage.

I don't speak English very well, but I can get by (manage).

Thanks for your help, but I can manage on my own (get by on my own).

This is my first English correction. Let see how well or awful I do it:
