Mi única objeción a tus correcciones es que en Chile estaría correcto decir "He estudiado (por) 2 años Castellano pero nunca lo he hablado"

De las dos maneras estaría bien.

Te doy la razón completamente, pues la verdad es que en el USO (también en España, el sentido de "durante", aunque no está regitrado, que yo sepa, en el DRAE, sí que lo está en el diccionario de uso de Moliner, y la verdad es que yo mismo lo he usado así.) Gracias.

11 Equivale a «durante» en expresiones como ‘se quedará aquí por una temporada, por cinco días’.

Bueno, repito las correcciones de Chileno, pero añado otras sugerencias... la expresión "favor de" creo que es típicamente americana... nunca la había visto ni oído en España...

Pero mucho me temo, Toto..., we are not in Spain (and/or Kansas for that matter) anymore... El español, ya está camino del reino de Oz...

caribe, por favor me suena imperativo si no lo dice con cuidad. Tambien en el caribe, toto no es un perro (Santo Domingo en particular).

Toto significa vagina en Santo Domingo.Según lo que me dijo, en otros paises caribeños (como la costa de Colombia) tambien se la usa, pero afuera de la Republica Dominicana es una palabra eufamística como pipi.
