mosca - feminine noun (la) - fly, housefly. Look up mosca in the dictionary

En el verano, debes mantener cerradas las puertas y las ventanas de tu casa para que no se metan muchas moscas.
During the summer, you should keep the doors and windows of your house closed to keep the flies out.

Okis, Here Carmen in, during the rains, there are a lot of housefly, I don't put up the flies at my house.


Fly in the puddle, flies inside the home.

What horror it.

Hay unas cuantas frases hechas en español con mosca:
  • Tener la mosca detrás de la oreja.
  • No se oye ni una mosca.
  • Pareces una mosquita muerta.
  • No hay más que moscones.
Y, la más eficaz, melódica y contundente: ser una mosca cojonera.

A ver si no me equivoco.

  • Tener/traes/llevar la mosca detrás de la oreja - Sospechar algo / sospechar que algo anda mal.
  • No se oye ni una mosca - You can hear a pin drop (hay silencio total)
  • Pareces una mosquita muerta - Una persona muy tranquila y tímida.
Lo de los moscones, no encuentro nada al respecto.

A ver si esto sirva:
Ser una mosca cojonera
= a person who is boring, persistent and annoying, all at the same time
= Ser un pesado
(Ella es una mosca cojonera. = She's a real pain in the neck.)

Estar mosqueado
= to be suspicious
= to be mad at someone/about something
= Estar sospechoso o enfadado

moscón = colloq. creep, pest (hombre pesado y molesto, especialmente en sus pretensiones amorosas)


Ya encontré o añadí los demás al diccionario de modismos.

Sometimes I bedew with insecticide all my house, in really sometimes I don't tolerate the houseflies.

And my house there are (Largartijas) as all the houses I have met it.

Do you've gartos in your home?

No, no los tengo. Aqui en el norte los lagartos son mas escasos y los pocos que hay son tan hurraños que casi nunca se ve.
