This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for September 3, 2008
cobija - feminine noun (la) - blanket. Look up cobija in the dictionary Tápate bien con tu cobija para que no te dé frío en la noche. Cover yourself up with your blanket so you don't get cold at night.

I use "manta". I use "cobijar" as a verb, but I don not use "cobija".
