Apuro

Escuché esto esta mañana y no entiendo muy bien que quiere decir apuro;

Darle apuro = to be embarrassed
Estar en apuros = to be in a difficult situation/predicament
Sacarle del apuro = to get someone out of trouble/a predicament
Ponerse en apuros/un apuro = to get oneself into trouble/a predicament
¡Qué apuro! = How embarrassing!

I've heard it used as
“I’m in a huge jam (trouble) and I need you to lend me money”

Yo pienso, estabas tratando a decir esto...( o)

I'm ashamed of what I did to my truck today.

y,

I'm embarrassed of what i did to my truck today.

Hope that helps you.
