What does the word "pilcha" mean?

From a Chilean poem:

"..trajo a Goethe
y un par de pilchas, para hacer del barquito de pesca
uno con capitán y marineros."

I googled this word and found an article in Portuguese. According to the
article pilcha refers to the traditional garb of gauchos (gauchos are roughly the equivalent of cowboys). I think in the poem pilchas may mean strong men.

Pilcha in Chile means a piece of clothing. Something you wear.

Tienes buenas pilchas en tu ropero....

Toma tus pilchas y te vas de aquí. :-)

@David: True, but "chivas" includes more than just the clothes; it's all your personal belongings (or stuff in general).

@Hernán: Ésas sólo son cabritas.

En realidad sentí que "cabras" podía malinterpretarse y sólo se trataba de usar un sinónimo inocente.

Ok, está bien. No dijiste nada malo.

Cabrito a cabrita is used for little boy or little girl. Cabro or cabra is used from more grown.
