I know this is not the point of your post, but I am intrigued by your English, because I've never heard this said before. When describing ages, I say "they are 52 and 49 (years old)... both my grandparents are over 80". Saying "they have" is very odd. Is this a regional dialect?

(Sorry, I have no time to correct, I must leave).

Yes, I did translate literally. My native language is English, however I do know some basic Spanish. I know that when you tell someone your age, you are telling them tengo dos años - or I 'have' two years. If speaking in English I would say that my parents are 52 and 49 years old, I am 24 years old, and my dog is 2 years old.

And one more thing: You use tú in some questions and usted in others. If all these questions are in the same conversation you have to make up your mind...

"su" is a possesive...

pron - pron - poss - poss
I - yo - mi - mio
You - tú/usted - tu/su - tuyo
He - él - su - suyo
She - ella - su - suyo
it - "eso" - su - suyo
We - nosotros - nuestro - nuestro
You - ustedes/vosotros - su/vuestro - suyo/vuestro
They - ellos - su - suyo

Sorry for the formatting.

Hi CrOtALiTo, Thank you!

I am writing the examples - the first part is my corrections based on feedback I received on page 1. The second part is new. I am happy with the second part as I did it entirely on my own!! Zero help from a translator to make the Spanish words.

Here are my latest short paragraphs:

My profession is accounting. Forensic Investigation as well as Performance Improvement and Risk. I prepared analysis of data for court cases, and I also analyzed financial histories of companies to make recommendations for change.

Unas 30 palabras.
The Spanish conquest of Mexico was possible because the Aztecs were expecting a White God so were welcoming to the Spanish. The emperor Moctezuma was murdered and a city destroyed.

The basis of my answer to the Spanish conquest is from this information:
Quote:
Since it is only 30 words, do you think I should add more or leave as is?

Por favor, corrija mi vocabulario! Gracias!
