Saludos a todos!

Estoy traduciendo un documento sobre una cirugía. En inglés dice "the abdominal contents are gently retracted out of the way."

Qué piensan ustedes?

retraction=distracción?? del contenido del abdomen...

Quizás sería mejor poner "retracción," no creen?

Nope, never studied medicine, but I have done some medical-type translations before. And incidentally, that has taught me a lot of medical vocab in English!
