I suppose yes, but I would be inclined to say something like:
The plot of this film is very well thought out. The plot of this film has been constructed very carefully.

How about "...well plotted"?
EDIT: To plot Of course the phrase would be "the story of the movies was well plotted" Last edited by chileno; January 22, 2012 at 05:59 PM.

'Very well crafted' sounds just fine to me. 'Very well thought out' would be more commonly said, though.
