I wish to know the Spanish for "I Suffer from travel sickness.

Generally speaking: Sufro de mareos cuando viajo.

"Cuídense", yes. If somebody tells me "ten cuidado", I would think there is something dangerous, like somebody wating for me to kill me. So probably I would ask: why?

I agree... "Cuídense"/"cuídese"/"cuídate" would be the most common ways to say "take care".

Some people I know tend to also say "con cuidado", but that rather sounds like a mother talking to her children.

Me han sugerido, con mucha gentileza, de tildar 'cuidense' pero no sé si hacerlo sobre la 'i' o sobre la 'u', siendo que me encuentro delante un hiato (o iato). Consultando lo consultable en esta materia, me encontré con muchas opiniones al respecto: tildar la 'u', tildar la 'i', sin tilde ninguna de las dos. (Pueden verificar Uds. mismos). Bueno, elijo 'cuídense'.

Juntas, las dos vocales débiles (ui), hacen un diptongo. La vocal débil acentuada se vuelve fuerte, así que si se acentúa la u, el diptongo se rompe.

Es un diptongo. Lo siento mucho, pero me equivoqué.

No pasa nada. Hiatos y diptongos con frecuencia dependen de la región donde se pronuncien.
