// x recibe el valor de 5.
x = 5;

// quieres ver si x equivale a 5
x == 5

No sé si me expliqué o me enredé...

The word (De pronto) is for to say something that has happened very faster.

For example I give you an examples of the use in the word De pronto.

These ways of use the word de pronto in my known language.

@ mari Jose
X=5 ( X es igual a 5 en este momento, luego puedo decir X=3)
X==5 (X siempre es cinco)
Saludos

Thanks, what I didn't understand was the context, but maybe because I read too fast.

You didn't understand the context because it is out of context.
We all know what the words mean (despite Crotalito's excellent translation), but we still don't understand what it means. It is out of context. We have no reference to help us make sense of it.

Okaaay... I don't know how to answer this post. I cannot think of an answer that would do it justice.
Anyway, one day I might learn to be self-confident and straightforward like you ( I try too hard not to offend and I know sometimes it must be a pain for those around me, or sound insincere...).
And: it's a good thing you could not see me because you made me laugh out loud. Best post ever.

No quería ofenderle a nadie, y espero no aconteciera.

I wasn't trying to offend anyone, and hope I haven't. I didn't use any emoticons to help you decipher my post. Sorry about that.
I didn't understand what lolgain wrote and María was brave enough to say she didn't either. Suffice it to say that no translation of the post will help unless it comes from the same poster who wrote it.

Perhaps one day we'll learn what lolgain meant.

You didn't, I suppose I didn't manage to explain what I really meant. I was trying to say you're polite but straightforward. Sorry.

Thanks, David. I know you are most probably right, otherwise I would be the first in line to take your bet...
