Depending on the context, scoot could be arrimarse, moverse, hacerse a un lado etc.
Careful with hacerse a un lado; it can also be used figuratively.

In the Spanish dubbed version of Ice Age I (La Era de Hielo I), Diego was playing with the baby and that's what he was saying while playing peek-a-boo.
"¿Dónde está el bebé? ¡Aquí está el bebé!" "¿Dónde está el bebé? ¡Aquí está el bebé!"

Cúcú...
Tras, tras... Cúcú... tras, tras... This is what they always say to me. When saying cúcú, they show their faces. When saying tras, tras, they hide them. Can anybody explain it to me?
